    Default Golden-crowned Kinglet

Always tough birds for me. This is the first time I got one against a naturally clear background.

I have not seen one of these yet. But if they are anything like the Ruby Crowned Kinglets we have around Northern California they are tough to get a clear shot of. Never seem to stay still long.
    Nice pose and background

Oh nice, not an easy image to make. Where in Boston?
I think the yellows are not saturated enough and the BG needs NR.
Nicely sharp for a bird that does not stop moving. Perch size is great too
for this puny bird. I think I'm going to try to get one of these guys this weekend
at Nahanton park in Newton this weekend.

    Cheers,

Yes good for you to get a clear shot. I assume hh and probably what is required. I like the dof and agree on the bit of noise in bg. Well done. Dave
