    Just an ibis flying with sun behind !! I was trying as a silhouette and fill !! Sort of like this one better.... didn't get a chance to change ISO !

    Nice silhouette and rim light. I'd not shy away from ISO 800 in 1d3.

    The rim light makes it for me. Beautiful image. Clean and simple. the way it should be.

    I hope you didn't suffer eye damage shooting that close to the sun, Alfred. :) Love the rim light and the comp. Well done.

    Hi Steve Forgot to mention I normally hold the dof preview button to protect my eyes !!!! .. would be toast without it :)

    Just like the others, I must agree, the rim light is just downright pretty spectacular and the half sun balances the large bird. It's really great looking.

    Oh, and with something like this, does the ISO noise even come into play ? The NR will make it look really awesome with little loss of detail considering its position.

    Awesome light Al. Love the pose too. Did you add any extra punch on top of what you would normally do in PP?
