It seems like this would be silhouette week, so if you have any to post, this would the time to do it.
Open season from now to Sunday!!!!! :D

Anhinga Trail, last week-end. I used f/22 to make sure I got a sharp SIL. A little bit of a gradient filter used on a naturally dark orange sky, from underexposing.

Seems like a very popular stump. Wonderful , artistic image. Might be because I'm on a laptop but it seema a bit bright. Still fine either way.

Another striking image, Fabs. I agree about the careful sun placement. Just out of curiosity - I see some filtered orange on the bottom half of the herons body rather than the silhouette being entirely black. Was this intentional?

Thanks, Steve, unavoidable given the sun's position.

    Beautiful image Fabs!
I like the pin hole light between the neck and body.

A very appealing image with wonderful oranges. Love the pinhole too, would have cloned it out if it was mine, now I see one should leave it in. So, another lesson learned, thank you, Fabs.
