Fire in the hole
The in camera effect was using a slow shutter speed to blur the spitting sparks from the hollows of this burning eucalypt tree that I photographed during a local bushfire in December. Then I added a Fractalius drawing (B&W) effect, but felt that I needed to bring some saturation back into it.

Akos, They are both really cool looking. I like the frac. work but the orig. w/ the blaze look is nice also. Either way a nice abstract!:)

I really like the original image. I was having a difficult time determining what the original image was. The original is OOTB enough for me and the sparks are very cool...just my opinion anyway. TFS

Akos I like them both. I wonder what it would look like to blend both layers to bring out some of those really cool sparks. I remember the original (sad) post too.
