1D4 grid screen and batteries
Hi, I don't get my toy until I return to Oz in May.:(
I am placing an order now with the Oz supplier for a May delievery date.
Does it have an electronic grid like the 5D2 or do you have to add a grid screen like the 7D?
How many extra batteries have you bought?

Jay, the MK4 does not have the electronic screen the 7D has. I think Canon decided that pros would want interchangeable screens. If you want a grid I think it can be added, but it will not be electronic.
RE the batteries I find battery life to be outstanding and did not get an extra one. On intense trips with a lot of images I will charge every night and be OK. I would consider a spare in very cold weather, but that is not in my future right now.
