    Dear all
This male tiger came so close to vehicle. I have no choice but to shoot his head only ,
    95 % of FF , contrast , s/h, sharpening
    7D , 300/F4 at f6.3, ISO 500 , 1/250 handheld

All C & C are most welcome & much appreciated

Hi Harshad - works for me - beautiful animal - might have to visit you one day ;)
If this were mine, I would add some additional sharpening (there is a bunch of detail to be bought out there - I use Genuine fractals with Noel Carboni's actions) and might add a little shadow/highlight to lighten up the rhs a tad.
Either way - I love it.

very nice Harshad, I would prefer something in between original a bit soft and repost a bit over-sharpened. would clone out the strands in lower right. Very beautiful portrait and eye contact. nicely done

    Harshadbhai,
This is a beautiful portrait. I like the close up in your face look. The color rendition and details are well defined. I agree with Arash for an image rendition in between your original and the repost for the sharpness factor...excellent composition...show us more...:)

Great shot. I agree everyone's comments about brightening the image. What do you think of this crop? S/H, B/C, dodge eyes and nose, selective sharpening of eyes and nose.

Hi Harshad One good looking animal !!

PS wise I like lightening with the mid tone slider in levels then adding neutral and black with selective color, also applying some of the pre set curves in curves, the linear contrast does well !!!

Love the head shot Harshad! I agree with Arash on the "in between" treatment for sharpening. I like Joe's crop too. Wonderful image full of possibilities! Wish I had been there to experience that moment. Thank you for sharing!!

For me, your sharpening on the face is good in your repost Harshad - and the brightening. I would leave the body alone, like Joe did, but sharpen the face almost as far as you did first time - especially eyes and nose. Well, that's how I see it. :-) The crop looks a good idea too.

Shouldn't complain about tigers coming too close! Hope I get a chance to see that some day.
