Another reworked image from our trip to Machias Seal Island in June, 2009. Gotta love those Puffins!

Very nice pose and I really like the nice side view of the head. I might lighten up around the eye just a bit. Dave

Gorgeous image Ed! Perfect background, great sharpness in the head and feet to contrast with the movement in the wings, fantastic color in the head and feet as well. And finally, love the title!

I would love a slightly looser crop. :) Otherwise, very fine pose and details. Gorgeous bird. :)

Lovely pose, colours and detail. I am sure the 50D can give you great result in higher iso so you can have some more depth of field for the wings. A bit more room on the sides could also be nice IMHO.

I like tighter presentations for web, so I'm fine with the crop. I love the detail and pose and would only desat the reds a bit. Well done!

Thank you ALL for your responses, critiques, feedback. I am glad that you all seemed to like the image. It's amazing what some better processing can do and it is truly amazing how easy it is with Nik. Virtually all my processing was done with Viveza and Sharpener Pro.
