This is just one of the reasons Bosque rocks! Was photographing cranes but could not resist this force of nature. Wish my 5D had been handy. Lesson learned.

    Canon 40D, Canon 400DO
    F8, 1/800sec, ISO 640, manual mode
Gitzo tripod, Mongoose head, almost full frame

    C & C always welcomed and appreciated,

Very well composed with the layers being topped by the moon. I think it would benefit from a slight boost in contrast, like the pre-set Linear Contrast in Curves.

Hi Marina, Funny how things sometimes work out when your targeting something entirely different and a whole different subject appears. I like the layers with the moon being in just the right position.Good advice from Fabs given above...

    Hi Marina,
Know the scene well and you composed it very nicely with the different layers. You can also try adding blacks in selective color to the neutral channel as a different approach.

Beautiful capture. The scene gives a very powerful feeling. I agree that more contrast is in order and think Roman's approach would work well.

Nice one here and i would also add some contrast. I also see some noise in the Sky. Pleasing image well done

Interesting thing here Marina is that I think I have almost that same image at the same spot.
