I found so many nice textures for texture week that I felt a "need" to do something with them:o This image
of a grebe was pretty uninteresting - a little bird in a big lake so I thought it needed a texture:) I used
an overlay for the texture, revealed the grebe and a little bit of his shadow and then dup layer and Topaz Skin Even. I also added difference clouds to my
sig. (I forgot to include the link to the texture I used -

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

i think the bg is fantastic!!!! very funky! i only wished the bird blended in with it a little smoother. not sure how to accomplish that. maybe apply the filter to the bird and leave the eye masked out? this is way cool though!!!

Bold and funky. Cheryl this is a very artistic creation. Might take a little off the bottom. Nice vision.:)

Very nice texture work, Cheryl. I like the bold colors of this. Ditto the suggestions by Harold and Denise.

I'm also voting for taking some off the bottom - going about a half inch below where the wave/line comes into play. Cool textures and use of graphic colors!
