Captured to illustrate the normal rambling habitat that these little birds normally like to habitat. The males are reluctant to come out into the open compared to the females :(. Getting a clean image of a Male is still a quest in progress for me, even though these guys live in the rainforest surrounding my house...the persute will continue:D

Beautiful head on this little guy! You almost got him pretty clean, just the tip of the tail and the feet obscured a bit.

Maybe a bit of work to bring up the blacks just a tad in some places and tone down some of the highlights behind the bird.

This is a spectacular capture of that wonderful fairy-wren. I know what you are talking about ! I've been trying to get a sharp and clean picture like this for more than a year now. This lightning-fast little bird rarely comes out in the open for more than 5 sec ! Big congrats !!!

Challenging targets for sure and a great effort, well done, agree with the Bg being toned down. The rich blue and black are a challenge when trying to get the correct exposure to bring out detail in both.
