    Hello everybody!
I found this image in my folders and decided to give it a try.

I wish the tail was not touching the branch. The crown had some splashes of blue (in the RAW file) and when I was ready to size the image I decided to clone it since it was very distracting.

The pose is nice and so is the perch and BG. Probably needed to push the iso higher to get a higher shutter speed because the bird is a little out of focus and looks like it was moving a little.

Pose, angle and BG look good. I might desaturate the neck plumage a bit and sharpen the bird more.

The eye looks sharp to me, the plumage is suffering from the 1/160 s/s while it was moving. Precious little creature, thanks for sharing, JC :)

You did well considering conditions mi amigo. Eye is sharp, but another round of sharpening would benefit it. You could push the 30D to ISO 800 comfortably I think. :)
