    Default Black-chinned Hummingbird

Here's one of my favorites from Arizona last year. I love the flowers matching the bird's purple throat or "gorget". This is the most common species of the area follow closely by my personal favorite - the Broad-billed Hummingbird.

Oh how I miss the hummers of AZ! This is really nice.

I wonder if loosing the leaf in the lower right corner would clean it up a little or throw it off balance.

Have seen this before, and love it still. Nice inclusion of the flowers and good positioning of the bird. Sweet!

This is so much more than a mere 'bird photograph'. This is a work of art. Excellent job and thanks for sharing.

Very well done, Matthew. Outstanding image design. Making this image with natural light and managing to capture the iridescence of this hummer's gorget is pretty special.
