Nice job on the exposure, holding the red channel. Sharp,good sized perch, like the grip showing.
Pretty good isolation of subject in a busy background. Might have been worth a few shots at a larger aperture to reduce your DOF a bit. As is, might consider toning down the lighter stems/reeds behind the bird and perch.
