    Default Wheat Blur

Stalks of wheat have been braided and bent into an interesting shape which is hanging on the inside of our front door. One day when I was learning how to do zoom blurs this caught my eye. Cropped a bit to un-center the center. ;)

Kerry. I think this is great. The in focus center of the blue ribbon is a nice touch. I like the white door as a BG. I think that if you included the rest of the top it would be nice also. I think I'd remove the spot on the edge of the frame up top also. I like being able to see the texture in the wheat. I'd love it if you could post your specs. so others wanting to try this could. Very nicely done :)

Oops, forgot to include the techs. My brain is like a sieve lately! Sorry about that, here they are -

    50D, EF70-200mm f/2.8 @ 140mm-70mm snap zoom
    f/8@1/10, shutter priority, EC -2/3 ISO 100

Snapped the zoom from 140 to 70 during the exposure.

The tight crop at the top is due to the "peep hole" in the door making a white streak that didn't look good in the image.

Thanks Kerry. I appreciate it. My brains been leaking lately too:). The peephole-that makes sense.
    Again, very nicely done.

Kerry, this is a wonderful image. The white BG really pops that blue ribbon and the wheat splayed out at the bottom really draws your image down and out. I think this is very nice...I could see it hanging in kitchens as sort of a country art piece.
