Captured at a local pond. Cropped away about 20% for composition and leveling in LR2, then levels, saturation, and sharpening in CS4. Also removed secondary eye catch-light caused by reflection on the water.

Not sure how much lower you could have gotten mate, but it still looks nice as is. I would crop a little off top still and would love to have a little more room ahead of the duck. Nice image overall and exp/colors look good to me.

I like the eye contact and soft light. I might crop a bit off top and bottom and sharpen the bird some more. You could try to get more details in the blacks and tone down the whites.

Very nice low angle, exposure is very good, I would sharpen the bird more.
