Default Snow Goose ala tar tar

The cycle of life continues here in the valley as Snow Geese arrive in numbers throughout the valley. This migration supplies resident Baldies with source of food in the leaner months. Canon ID mkII with EF 300 IS F2.8 coupled with 2x and canon 1.4 stacked together. ISO 320 center weight meter. I am quite surprised with the sharpness all things considered.

    Thanks

    Phil:

Your image quality did hold up pretty well, considering your setup. Open mouth, feathers and blood add to the story. You did a great job of getting a clear view of the bird.

I might try moving the bird to the left in the frame by a minor crop from left, trying to decenter it a bit.

I might do a little selective pruning of the larger branches above the bird, and the small spike sticking up behind his tail.

    Nice capture.

Randy covered all the important points. A very detailed image considering the stacked converters. Well done.

Really nice how the separation of the branches frame the bird here...
