It was bound to happen. Such an attractive personality, ready to travel...

It was yesterday at Flamingo, at the South end of the Everglades, Osprey domain
Beep was relaxing and enjoying his afternoon, when this Osprey came and took us by surprise!!!!!

    WHAT TO DO??????????

We are anxiously awating for a ransom note.....:(

Two years ago something like this really happened in Connecticut. In an osprey nest with live cam you could see some stuffed animal. Maybe you could contact these people to figure out the best way to negotiate with ospreys. I hear the psychological component of catch and release is really tricky. :)

I think that we saw him today in Tampa Bay being carried by a Bald Eagle. Must have pirated him from the Osprey...

I have to agree with Artie. I saw the Eagle by Venice Rookery today on his way to Tampa.

    Hi,

We disagree. He was reported to be seen down in Cape Coral being hostage of the burrowing owls...
I am pretty sure we will see reports tonight in the latest news...:D

I have faith in BEEP.......he's a distant cousin to my "Devil Child". I imagine that by now he's kicking butt and taking names.

Gotta love OSPREYS. What a beautiful bird. Smart too. I'd say your friend is toast if you ask me. Heck..I've seen these osprey attack eagles for fish. They are nothing to take lightly or mess with. Pay the ransom so we can buy new camera equipment...ughm so the osprey can eat.
