    D90; 80-400 VR @ 240 mm. ISO 200. f/7.1 @ 1/2000s. Matrix metering 2 -1.0 EV. Aperture priority. HH.

Blind Pass (Sanibel) at Thanksgiving. About 90% of full width, cropped to pano. Can see some noise on the water, but would have been difficult to isolate birds from BG, so did not run NR. C&C appreciated as always.

    Hi Bill,
Its a beautiful capture, I like the pano crop. The color rendition is good and you have fine details. Would suggest adding more canvas to the left side of the frame to give them more flying room and cloning out the cut birds to the right side of the frame...good show...looking forward to your next one...

Thank you Gus. That's a good idea. Adding some canvas to the left shouldn't be too hard and will give them some flying space. Cloning out the cut birds on the right will be tricky, but I'll give it a try - maybe I can get some of them.

Agree with the above suggestions. The sharpness really makes this.
    Well done

Another group picture . . . I like them a lot. Agree it would be good to add a bit of canvas on the left side.

Excellent suggestion by Gus regarding the canvas, can add these type benefit from clean borders, particularly top and bottom. Its best to have a clean edge without birds !!!

Noise wise I would run Noiseware Pro over the entire image without any concern, program does very well maintaining sharpness !!!
