    Default American Avocet

Here is an Avocet trying to shake off all the mud, head is slightly angled away but I still like the pose.

    A sweet image Arash,
I like the ultra low capture angle. You have a good head angle and sharp eye contact. The color rendition and feather details are superb...good show, looking forward to your next one...

Very nice one, Arash. Exposure is spot-on, and lovely bill stands out nicely against the OOF background. Mud droplets are a nice touch. Could have wished for a slight head turn, but works very well as captured. I'm seeing just a few bits of halo here and there. A handsome image.

I think I like the version at Avian Critiques forum a bit better. it seems a bit sharper, better position of the bird.

Just wish you had a better bg for that bird but it is one a fine image and best you could have done from your position !!!

Exposure rocks - like the small droplets of mud and water - a better HA would have been my only wish.
