Hi There

Well just got back from my first trip to Florida shooting Wildlife at Ding Darling...what a place... and I am looking forward to returning.

Was looking to shoot Ospreys and was lucky enough to see quite a few, so will possibly post a couple of those shots later but 1st up is I think a Tri-coloured heron? on the lagoon in morning light..

I like the mood, soft light and calm water and might crop it a bit tighter. I also wish the head were angled toward you more. The bird looks like a Little Blue Heron to me and I'm glad you had a good time in Florida. I guess it was a little warmer than in the UK. :)

I like the feel here. Grey and dreamy. Interesting enough, don't mind the HA.
Looks like an absent-minded (Little Blue) Heron. Very nice.

Looks like you had quite a calm morning...the water is perfectly still!! I agree with Axe's comments, including the species correction:).
