From Morton with Joe and my wife. This was the WP perch we were working that Joe's cardinal hit the top of.

Morton is a great place to practice and evaluate equipment. I was happy to get out there with the MK4 and try a few differnet ISOs and focus points etc.. may have a bit of a front focus issue with the 500 that I may have too look into but otherwise totally happy with it.

ISO400 is so creamly !!!!!! And I really like the AF point switch for Horiz/Vert positions.

    Thanks for looking,
    Lou

    MK4, 500F4 with 1.4TC ISO400 F8@640

Well exposed on the whites and blacks Lou. Comp works well, and I would maybe selectively sharpen his head. Well captured.

Really awesome and clean - lovely work with that exposure.

I really need to get out. I should get to Morton soon.

Great exposure. Those black and white birds are not always easy. I like the light and the composition. Only wish for a head angle a little more towards the camera.

Nice image. I would crop more from the left. I think that would make it look even nicer.

Very good exposure, light, BG and perch.
As mentioned a better HA would improve. The head seems to be a little bit soft on my monitor.
