    This a quite a rare sighting, so I was glad to capture a fairly open shot. Taken in Sabi Private game reserve two years ago. A lower angle was not possible, as taken from an open vehicle. Lighting from the spotlight, and my own flash.

    Stu, this is GREAT! Just to see it is magic, have never seen this critter in more than 30 years going to the bush! Might reduce the brances behind him with a blur to make him stand out a bit more, but heck, you got an unusual critter!:D

    I will do my usual "this is something you do not see very often"
    OK the BG is a little distracting but normally the mongoose would be in it!
    Great use of spotlight and flash.

    I had never seen a photo of this animal before. One can't always get a low angle. Good use of spotlight and flash. Thanks for sharing.

    Great sighting Stu and I have also not seen this mongoose before. Great sharp detail in this and thanks for showing us this.:)
