Looks good Denise. Excellent sharpness, nice wing position, and good placement in the frame.

Wing position, light, water and eye contact, makes this one a winner.

This one is sharp and could also use a bit off the bottom. I do like the first one a bit better. If you keep hanging out at that jetty so much people might start confusing you with a barnacle.... Hey, you could get a nice picture of a barnacle and use it as your avatar!

It is amazing that those seemingly tiny wings could support such a fat duck. That's why they have to beat them so fast.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I appreciate you all taking the time to give me your feedback.
Artie, I'm not sure that comparing my looks to a barnacle qualifies as kind so please disregard that statement.:)

Neat landing pose, good sharpness and eye contact. I might remove some of the repetitive patterns on the left side.

Another beauty, Denise. Interesting wing position, and I like the placement in the frame. Great sharpness and BG. I wouldn't have noticed the repetitive water pattern if you hadn't disclosed it. Well done as usual.

This is wonderful Denise. Love the pose and comp. Sharp as a tack. You need to give Artie an e-slap I think. :D

Great flight image and very sharp. I must admit only now I realize that the female's bill
is as complicated as male's in this species. Great capture.

She's beautiful, Denise, beautifully photographed! Love the swept back wings, that is my favorite aspect of this image.
