    Hi Myer,
This is a good record shot of the action taking place in the natural habitat. From a compositional stand point, I would have liked to have seen the entire deer with feet and all, not cut...looking forward to your next one...

Gus so wouldn't I like the whole deer. I was concentrating the the harrier who was leaving after attaching an immature red-tailed hawk and was trying for a decent picture of the harrier. The deer was just there :D

i wouldnt put it pass the harrier for trying!! those raptors are tough!!!! i like the way the processing turned out here.. for another compo, i would crop out the deer and add some canvas up top. did you get the redtail attack?

here is the photo with your sugestions. I am going to try an other one by cutting out the deer and replacing it with one that has its feet on the ground. wish me luck never tried this before :)

nice wing position and open beak! I would try to do a tighter vertical crop to concentrate more on the harrier.

Hi Myer Prefer the bird only or .... if you would have gone vertical with the deer in frame !!! Neat capture, a keeper in my book !!!

Hi - repost is on the money for me - so much stronger without the deer (seeing as it was not all in the frame)
