    From a backyard setup using a feeder and hide. These guys usually feed on the ground but we had a cold snap with some snow and he was trying to stay warm.

    Hi,
    I like the pose (and the beautiful bird). It seems that you used Shadows/Highlights for the background, (at least on my monitor) there's a whitish halo around the bird - which is, I assume, because of too much Shadow enhancement.

    Very nice diagonal from perch and sweet bird. Halo mentioned. I love the snow in the BG. TFS!

    Not your typical winter species around here. It looks as if the bird regrets not going further south. :) I like the soft light, sharpness and BG. You can avoid the halo if you adjust curves in your RAW converter.
