    Default "Who goes there?"

Captured Big Boy in this pose whilst he was resting in the classic bow of a tree @ sunset pose.
He was somewhat perturbed at the presence of a Guinea Fowl higher up in a branch of another tree giving away his location to all and sundry.
This is a crop of approx 40% of original, took out a few branches that were poking out from his head.
Moremi GR- Botswana Sept '09. monopod from vehicle.

    C & C most welcome

    Marc,

Looks like you got some banding/posterization in the sky. If you used curves or any other process, that may have caused it. Just mask out the sky to help that.

Great look on the animal. It would have bee nice if his chin was not hide by the branch.

I like the pose. May be slightly more space at the back to get his entire foreleg joint. A crop from the left to eliminate the sky at the lower left corner will also work. Thanks for sharing.

Love the pose, exposure and detail look good. Would love to see one in person. Well done. TFS

    Marc,

    Was it really this grey?

I would crop a little from the left, to cut of the broken end of the lowest branch.

Lovely leopard though, just goes to show that it's not just the expensive private concessions that have the good sightings.

Marc, I think your crop works well, all the focus on the big guy's head. Colours maybe a tad oversaturated, and I know how you must have felt seeing this guy.
