This Great Tit was rather nervous, I think a sparrowhawk had been patrolling the area.

I have done a little cloning and patching to tidy up a few sharp twigs, one of which bisected the tail. Although non of the image was over exposed I felt the white cheek patch was a little bright so I did two layers and using a mask I left a darker white area which I think blends in a little better.
(I couldn't figure out how to do the reduction in light that Artie did on the recent penguin image).

All comments welcome - don't spare my feelings I want to improve!!:)

Beautiful singing pose. I think the head/beak is a bit soft. Perhaps some selective sharpening might help. If you chose that perch , it was a good find.

A very fine image. Love the way this tit is looking up. Killer BG and great exposure. Those lichens on perch match the birdīs colors very well.

Beautiful signing pose. The white cheek looks too gray from here. I wish that the head were turned away from us just a bit more. The face looks sharp enough but a bit of selective sharpening would surely help. All in all, well done.

Cool singing/calling pose, very nice perch, sharpness and BG, too. I might have raised the ISO and stopped down a bit more.

I like how the pose follows the curved perch, and I like the colours. Killer BG.

Beautiful BG and Perch. I like the pose as well.
I would leave less room on the right and add some to the left.

Excellent pose and for me it appears sharp enough as I see it. Love that lichen-covered perch very much. :)
