The image below was created using the Color range function in CS4, I took the original image and selected various colors colored them and pasted back into original image. Took many samples changing and adjusting colors....
My Wife and I are going somewhere warm, We're leaving Monday. Congratulations to all winners of this weeks them in advance. Been so busy this week between work and getting ready..See you all in February.
Very colorful and whimsical. I like the tight comp. but might give it a teeny bit more room up top. I might refine the edges a bit more too. Very creative work Paul. You are really getting good at this stuff:)

Paul, it looks like you're getting ready for the tropics:) I love the image - esp the texture of the feathers
on the top of his head and the choice of colors. When I looked at the thumbnail it looked like a yellow butterfly
