    Default White duck revisited

I posted the original version of this last year as an "in-camera" effect. The color temperature was very warm due to late afternoon sun and made a pleasing image. Yesterday I was playing with some new presets in LR2 and thought I would try one on this image. While it changes the original feeling, I like this treatment also and wondered what the collective would think about it... :)

    Thanks for your comments!

PS - the overexposure is intentional.

I love the stark white and black. The water reflected on the duck is nice. I do remember this one and I liked it then and now. Nicely done.

    Nice image and application, Kerry.

I like the B&W contrast as well, though I don't remeber seeing the original. I like this one.

Very nice, Kerry! I love the white on black and the eye contact is a big plus. Nice pose and reflections too.

Kerry, this is really nice with the contrasting black and white. It reminds me of "Phantom of the Opera" and
I see a phantom mask in the water reflection:)

I like this composition very much. Nice contrasting black and white with excellent reflection. To me it is the eye and the orange bill that makes this image. Very different mood from the original. TFS

I definitely prefer the b&w here to the color - it's so impactful! Excellent play of light on the back of the duck and the ink black of the water is gorgeous!
