    Default Are You Hungry ?

this a food that we make verry often in Greece special in summer where there is plenty of vegetables the name is gemista and it means stuffed.

    RECIPE
for a baking pan like it in image (4-5 persons about)

tomatos and peppers till the baking pan is full ( first try them in the baking pan then work with those )
a deep plate of white soft rice
plenty of parcley ( about 2 full hands and cuted with knife )
    3 big onions grated
    2 garlic cloves grated
2-3 potatoes ( cuted it in fries style but 2-3 times more thick )
    some tomato paste
2 small glasses of wine olive oil ( if u have Greek one it happens to be the best )
    1 glass of water
    salt and pepper

start with the potatoes cleen them and cut , put them in a plate add a tea spoon of tomato pasta a bit of
salt a bit of water , mix them well , and let them in the side to use them later .

tomatos and pappers must be whashed well , then cut them with a knife but keep that (hat ) .
also take the inside of the tomatos grate it

put all the stuff in a bowl except the water ,
add a full spoon of tomato pasta as well .
mix them verry well , and start fill the vegetables
    with a spoon .
now add the potatoes there where u see holes .
add the water , a little salt in the top of the vegetables,
    also some olive oil .
now its ready , bake it in strong
temperature up and down for about 1 hour more less , it depends from
vegetables hard and fresh they are .

fresh bread and Greek cheese Feta is must with this food , dont forget
to add some oil olive in the top of cheese and some dry oregano , u gonna love this ..

Don't eat a lot , Greeks are the most fat europians , and i am one of those , u can guss why .

OK , i know maybe this is not a great image , it is something just for a change u may say , perhaps something for fun , try
to enjoy the life , lifes too short to be sad .

Few words for the image now : the image i have take is the baking pan with the food in , the other ones are from other images
