    I like the head angle, interesting perch, too. Is this a heavy crop? There seems to be a lack of fine detail, maybe you could try to sharpen the bird a bit more. I might put the bird a bit lower in the frame.

    Hi Ryan, I like the composition. In my opinion the perch leading in from the corner is effective. I think the head angle is good as it enhances the interests of the viewer. On my monitor the bird looks a little dark. My I suggest selectively lightening the bird just a bit. I would also tone down the bright area of the birds leg. Thanks for sharing as raptors are my favorite.

    Nice Ryan, heads angle and pose is very good, feather look a bit dark on my screen and I agree with Axel that it seems to lack fine detail, perhaps due to heavy crop. I like the composition shown the beach environment. TFS
