    Osprey photo was taken in Teton National Park.

    Canon MarkIII with a Canon 500mm f/4 IS lens and 1.4 converter@ f/13, 1/1000, ISO 500. Levels, S/H, saturation and sharpening in PS. Small branches at bottom of photo were cloned out.

    Very nice wing and tail display.
    There are some hot white areas, which can be toned down with the recovery slider, although I suspect some detail has been lost.
    For my taste, the contrast in the image is too high, which worsens the hot area issue, and the sky a bit over saturated.

    I tried a small reverse s curve adjustment after doing recovery, and it did soften the contrast and lowered the saturation a bit in the background.

    There are some halos around the bird.

    I might give it a little more space to breathe in as well.

    Thanks for sharing. Ospreys are great subjects.

    The pose and sharpness look good. I would desaturate the sky a few points and run NR on it. Some of the whites of the bird are overexposed, I hope you can recover them in your RAW converter.
