    It's still raining here! So, I dug back again into my images and came up with this young guy from a year ago. As you see, I was standing way below him and needed more lens, but got my second falcon, so I considered myself lucky that day. I've fiddled with the image but know it's still not "right." Guess I need more luck -- but, in the meantime, what do you think?

    Hi Wendell,
    I like the capture. I would suggest on running noise reduction in the background and selective sharpening the eye, it is a tad on the soft side, would also lighten up the mid-tones a little...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    Thanks, Gus . . . I have pretty consistently overlooked noise reduction . . . I don't know why I seem to have a blind spot on that PP feature . . .

    Hi Wendell - agree with Gus - the capture angle is a little steep, with nothing in the BG like you have here you can go for some more DOF as no BG elements to take into account.
    Also looks like you might have a dust bunny to the left of the head.
