    Here is an image capture at TG Halli a village about 70 kms from Bangalore. Used NX2 for B&W conversions, and added sepia toning, grains and Gaussian blur to get that vintage look. Let me know your views.

    Ramesh, I think you did a great job creating some age for this image. I do wish for more of a focal point within the image. The color toning looks good.

    Nice job on the vintage look, Ramesh. I like the soft feel of this, though like Denise I wish for a stronger focal point.

    I'd select the foliage area of the image, give it a boost in contrast (maybe even a little burning and dodging) and leave the sky as is (or possibly doing a little lighter area as it comes in towards the sun.) It's a great start - just needs something to settle the eye as the others have said. Not having a true black point I think that's what might be missing.
