I don't follow the search closely and am wondering if someone knows anything about it: http://www.free-press-release.com/ne...263914173.html
No one has seen the images yet, though. http://cs.birdersworld.com/brdcs/blo...ll-photos.aspx

What exactly does this mean?
"After Mr. Rainsong's rights in this discovery have been established and protected, the photographs will then be released to the public."
What rights does he have?
Upcoming Workshops: Bosque del Apache 2019, Ecuador 2020 (details coming soon)

I imagine any valid photo of an Ivory-Billed Woodpecker in 2010 would be priceless...Bragging rights yes...but what a great thing to brag about, first person to actually photograph one since 1944.
I have a birder friend from Atlanta that since first reported in 2004, has been spending 3 weeks in February, kayaking around swamps looking for this bird..its the Holy Grail For birders...
Now if they could only find a Bachman's Warbler...:)
Thanks for sharing the link Axel..It will be interesting to see where this leads
I spread this around the local birding community here in Sac. and some think it may be a hoax due to the lack of chatter from Cornell etc. We will just have to wait for the pix! Hey, we can critique them!!:D
Hm, dunno... Wait and see...
Elvis is on the loose....go get em guys!
