    I like the subdued light and am sure glad you waited. Comp is great IMHO. What a neat image. :) Thanks for sharing.

    I like the different poses, sharpness and soft light. There seems to be a slight reddish cast.

    Beautiful stretched wings and resting pose of the other. Wish the resting bird were just a bit sharper. I also see the sharpening grain on the outstretched wing. I love the BG and the composition.

    I love the mood on this one and the intense eye contact-raised wings. BG works perfect for me. I would add a touch of aditional contrast and a bit more room at the left to balance the image. Very well done:)

    Good for you to wait. It has paid off very well. I really like th soft feel to it as well as the muted colours. Nice details on the out stretched wings. If it were mine, I might have a look at a tad off the bottom. Very nice. Dave

    Well timed for the wing stretch, and I like the contrasting poses. Good overall exposure, and I like the low angle.
