I got a few shots of him posed with a berry in his mouth, but I thought this was an interesting behavioral shot, plus it shows the flashy wing bars.

With all the easy accessible berrys in reach, he had to have that one. :-)

First class, I like everything, detail exposure composition and especially the timing! I also like the natural background it has just a little variation in colour, so often they are perfectly bland and monotonous - nothing wrong with that, but it is sometimes nice to see a little variation in the background.:)

And what's funny too he had to have that one particular berry with all those easier ones to get! He became obsessed maybe! Neat shot.

A little different and well done , as always. The outstreched wing does it for me.

Comp is great and the DOF is perfect all in focus. Question did you set this up, if so a few more pointers I am planning to try some of your suggestions in the CD when I return from Florida

Nice upside-down pose Alan. Your are truly the king of set ups, not to shabby with natural shots either:D. Exposure, detail and comp are up to your usual standards. TFS

Another superb setup. Capturing him with his beak around his prize, and wings fully fanned, put this one over the top. Well done as usual.

I like the fact that the Mockingbird is shown with a more detailed environment.

Excellent wing details, I particularly like the aesthetic of the spread feathers. Set up, exposure and composition great as usual.

definitely not a 'field-guide pose' :-) loved it Alan....just loved it. And even in this crazy pose, the head angle is awesome. Eyes go straight there and then the bird's feathers and then all around appreciating the perch. Hats off.
