Great pose captured and the side lighting has been well handled.
I hope he got his undercarriage fully deployed before touchdown.:)

Fantastic flight shot. Wonderful light, great wing pose. I like the forward extended head. Wonderful sharpness.

May I ask what AF technique you used?
Was it handheld? Did you use only the central sensor?

Thanks for the compliments Leo and Markus ... Markus I was using AI Servo, centre focus point and yes it was handheld but using a BushHawk .. I find the 500mm starts to bother my right wrist if I don't use the BushHawk.

I really like this incoming flight shot, Malcolm. I wish I had kept my BushHawk.

Thanks for the information. I've never heard of the BushHawk. Just googled it. It looks very interesting.
I can hand hold my 4/500L a while but I am not too strong so it get's too heavy after a while.
That is one reason why I didn't get the 4/600L.

Thanks Karl, Markus if it weren't for the BushHawk I probably wouldn't use my 500mm nearly as much.
