The bright sun was on this bird's tail so I had to wait for a while for a decent HA and shadow.
I like the stretching pose here and wish for less noise in the dark parts.

    CC appreciated.

    Ilija:

Great looking bird, good job on the exposure and waiting for a shadow.
    Sharp.

I do like the stretching pose except for the fact that the head merges with the far wing. It rather blends in an almost looks like he has a large crown or crest!:D

Do you have any shots with the wings down?

    Cheers

Interesting pose. Could you have moved to your right a bit? I think it would have been a better angle here if possible. Would try to lighten area around eye a bit. Well done. TFS

You did well from where you were. More to the right would likely have helped. As with Randy, I wish that the bird had its far wing swept back so that it did not merge with the head. Great job on a tough EXP.

I agree with the comments above, and would add that, if possible, a lower angle would have helped here. Nice exposure, and HA.

    Keep them coming!

Agree on tough exp Ilija! Well done in handling. As for Tonto Duck. :D Well, also wish you were more to the right because of the head/wing merge. Still did well considering mate.

Thanks Todd, No I could not move to the right at all. I was standing on a wall with dense bush on my right.
    Could not get lower either.
I had to wait for the bird to move around instead.

Thank you sir, as I answered to Todd, I could not move to the right at all. I forgot to mention this was hand-held,
I was at a wall edge with no space for the tripod either.
