    Default Shades of Blue

Here is a view of hills along the river Godavari in southern India. We were on a boat and the ripples made by the boat added some foreground interest. Appreciate your views and comments.

Hi Ramesh, Interesting comp but for my taste I added a few tweaks.First I cropped a bit off the bottom eliminating the dark shadow in a foreground wave I felt was a bit distracting. I added some warmth to the image when I realised the sky wasn't exactly blue. Finally a small contrast adj and saturation. The image reposted a bit lighter than intended but brought some detail in the trees on the far shore...

Thanks Dave for your comments and the repost. Blues definitely popup in your repost. Thanks again.

Ramesh, I like the setting, and the ripples do add to the feel of the image. Dave's repost works well.

    Hi Ramesh,
The ripples do add to the FG interest but I may go slightly higher than Dave....say about 3/4 of an inch above where Dave cropped eliminating the lower wakeline entirely. I like the way his repost brought up the MG.....as I like blues I am fine with that also but you can easily adjust that to your own tastes. I think this would also work as a B&W conversion also. Nice job using atmospehric layers efectively.

I would go with the new cropping suggestions as well.
