Two ring-necked ducks at take-off. This was taken at Viera when a flock of ring-necks were all preparing for take-off. Beautiful sight to see.

The BG and reflections are very nice. The ducks are sharp and well exposed.
I would compose the image slightly different. I would place the ducks a tab more to the left in the frame with a bit more room on the right. Also I would crop with the top of the image just below or at the shoreline.

A bit more eye contact would of been nice Judy I like the wing position captured now this would of been cooler if the duck lagging behind was drenched by this splash over its head.:)

Judy, loved the pose a lot. But I think it would have looked better with higher SS and smaller aperture. With full-frame camera and 300 focal length, looks like you were quite close to them. Must have been a wonderful moment.

Judy, I love take off shots that are well timed, and you achieved that here. Great extended wing, good detail, and I like the purple sheen on the head. Comp wise, if anything, I would take a bit off the bottom.

Very nice capture, I think a crop from top and bottom into pano would show these two off very well. Exposure and sharpness is spot on. TFS

Love the action and colouring throughout the image.
