Just back from a trip to Arches and Canyonlands... Plenty of snow but not enough sweet light and a good bit of haze in the air..

Hi Robert, Nice view of Turret Arch. Good positioning with the rock in the foreground along with a mix of snow.Lighting is nicely filtered along with an interesting sky. You positioned yourself well enabling the viewer to see the small rock through the turret. Nicely handled...

Even without the good light you pulled off a great image. I love the colors and composition.

    Hey Dale,
Very nice using the rock in the FG to balance Turret Arch. The filtered light defintiely helped tame the shadows nicely and still keep all the detail in the snow. Nicely done!

I like the details that the strong side-light brought out. The clouds are perfect and act as a leading line pointing to the arch.

love everything about this image, Dale, and wish it was mine...
I do notice some sharpening halos around the arch at this web-posting size.
