    The sun light was almost gone, but the dunlins kept flying, so I kept shooting. In post, set the black point, add contrast, and viola:

    David, The darkness really makes you stare hard at the image. This has a very abstract look and would probably be better appreciated as a large print. I like the sunlit wings.

    Very interesting image, David. Part of me wishes I could see the heads of some of the birds, but I do like the abstract pattern of the sunlit wings.

    Hi David. Nice to see you here in OOTB!

    I like this a lot! The image draws your eye into it and lets your imagination fill in the dark parts of the birds. I think it works well as an abstract and I like your thinking with it. Love the angle of the wings!
