Recreated from an image made this past weekend at Sandy Hook, NJ.

Image was processed with Nik Dfine, Viveza, Color Efex Pro before I decided to go black & white. So then we went to Silver Efex Pro and Sharpener Pro.

Ed, The silver efex really added some nice color toning and age. I like the ice in the water. The ice on the rocks looks like icing! I might take a sliver off the top(I know)and blend the vignette a bit more if it were mine.:)

Nice creation of a 'vintage' image, Ed. Agree that a tad off the top might be good and use the transition slider for a tad more blending. Other settings there appear fine. A great image for the weekly theme!

Very nice, Ed. Interesting scene and I like the toning. I agree with Denise on blending the vignette a little more.

Great looking image Ed. I like Denise's suggestions. In fact, I'd take most of the top off. :)

Your image...your vision...but I'd blend that vignette a bit more also. I like the hard edges on all but the top and there it really closes in the image to me.

Appreciate all the feedback folks! I can clearly see what you all are talking about. I haven't tried to play with the vignette since this was a Silver Efex preset and, if memory serves, I don't think I made any adjustments from the preset settings.

The problem here is the darkness of the sky (which is the result of some adjustments I made in Viveza to reduce the brightness) and I not sure I can fix that with the vignette blending but hey, I could be wrong. My thinking is I may have to go to the Viveza stage and not back off on brightness as much.

Just my thoughts at the moment without having tried anything.
