    Dave:'

I really like the full back wing position, the diagonal line formed by the wing. Well exposed.

It looks like the sharpest spot is on the far wing.

The light angle did leave parts of the bird in shadow

I might consider toning down the rocks in the background, esp the one just in front of his feet.

I like the landing pose and inclusion of the habitat and agree regarding sharpness and light angle. Maybe a bit more room right and top?

Hi Dave, I like the swept back wings, and the whites look good to me. I cant get enough of their detail and colours on their heads. Lovely turquoise sea BG.

Wonderful pose, spot on exposure! Unfortunate about the shadow. Where was this taken?

Thanks to all for looking and for comments.
This image was captured at a protected Ganett coloney in Lamberts bay South Africa.
There are 3 colonies around the coast, this being the only accessible one, the others are on off shore islands with access prohibiited.
Unfortunatly the viewing area faces north so the sun angle is at right angles to the birds flight path.
