    Default Bald Eagle

I don't get to photograph them often, but I love bald eagles as subjects. I experimented with a vertical crop on this one. What do you all think?

Beautiful, Doug. I love the clouded sky BG. The filtered light made for wonderful even lighting on the bird. I captured one Sunday in Florida in bright sun - not nearly as nice. I will post it tomorrow.

Doug vertical does work well for this image Particularly like having detail and able to hold the whites Had some good light Might give a little more room for the bird Excellent capture !!!!

It works very well, very good exposure control with good detail in bird. I agree with Al on the room.

The vertical crop works very well, Doug! Excellent feather detail, and I really like the soft lighting. The diagonal elements in the background add to the sense of motion.

    Hey Doug,
I'm a huge fan of tight crops...........keep it as is for my tastes.
