I did a few texture overlays on this using two textures by SkeletalMess, this one and this one, as well as a rock texture of my own. I added the sepia tone using selective color and also added some noise.

Christopher, The blurriness on the edge, the yellowed tone and the textures work well together to make that vintage look. Thanks for the links! They are wonderful textures for this exercise.

Christopher, This has a lovely antique look to it. Very nice color toning and aging. I like the image design. Thank you for the links!

Very nice Christopher! It really gives me a sense of a vintage print, with really nice tint(s) and textures. I especially like the varying tonalities.

Lovely image but I feel the poor finch gets lost in all the space. I'd take some off the top and the bottom if it were mine. GREAT antique look!

Thanks Jules. I chose this comp because I felt the square comp added to the old feel and because I liked how the leaves along the edge framed it, but your suggestion sounds like it might be a good one too so I'll give it a try.
