    Default Carolina Wren

Here I was going for an environmental shot of a Carolina Wren, coming out into the open to sing.

    Good shot showing great habitat.
i wish the OOF foreground branch on the left wasn't there as it distracts the eye from the main event, which is a nicely posed, well detailed bird.

I like the soft light, wide crop and eye contact and don't find the OOF vegetation in the foreground too distracting. Maybe a bit more contrast?

Thanks! For some reason that branch doesn't bother me too much :).

Beautiful photograph of this species, and I love the habitat bits in here. I didnt really notice the OOF branches until it was pointed out. I think its because its soft enough, and nicely colored.

I love this kind of images in which is possible to enjoy the beautifull details of the environment. The combination of sharp areas with out of focus ones is excellent and doesn´t distract. The bird is really well isolated from the BG and I like the soft light a lot. The cristal clear water drops are a nice bonus
