“Banking” This graceful fellow was flying high along the canal’s edge in Shark Valley, Florida’s Everglades National Park. He was painted with a Nikon D300s, using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4D - IF-ED , with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

Lovely, and like Oscar I really like the underwing detail and the nice sharp eye. I'm not sure if it's noise or jpg artifact that I'm seeing in the sky, but either way there does appear to be something there.
Great capture with excellent light and exposure. Very good detail in head and eye. I agree with the noise in the BG and would have placed the Ibis a smidgen higher in the composition.
This is a beauty, Gus. Love the wing detail, and placement in the frame. In a perfect world you might have asked him to turn his head just a tad, and I think I see a tiny halo around the beak. But nits aside, this is a winner.
