    Here is a Red-tailed with wings in full down position, head is sharp but the rest of the bird not so much, still like the wing position what is your take?

    Love it - awesome - for my tastes a bit of work on the rest of the body would put this over the top.
    I sharpened the body in Genuine fractals - Med Sharpen - Max Texture action.

    Hi Vince - I used Genuine Fractals a Photoshop plugin and some actions for it created by BPN'S own Noel Carboni (with some adjustments to the opacity of the layer)

    Note - you still also need Genuine Fractals.

    Thanks for the info on your plug-in. I would be willing to buy it until I see what Genuine fractels costs. I will have to wait awhile. I sure would like to get it in the future as it seems like the program to have.

    Hi Vince - there are many programs you can use to sharpen and all do quite a good job - you just have to invest some time and research into how to get the best out of them.
    I went the GF way based on a number of discussions i followed closely here on BPN - were this is particularly good is at bringing out texture.
